HOUSING TAX CREDIT COMPLIANCE TRAINING -LIVE ONLINE

This program includes everything you need to know to be in compliance with requirements for the housing tax credit program and is taught by compliance experts from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

At TAA’s Housing Tax Credit Compliance Training you will:

• Review key HTC rules
• Hear an overview of the allocation/award process, affirmative marketing, income and rent limits, and minimum set-asides
• Discover how utility allowances, applicable fractions, unit transfers and household additions have an impact, and how the recertification process works
• Review onsite file requirements and how to report to TDHCA

To receive a certificate for the online seminar, you must register with TAA. Access instructions and seminar materials will be emailed to each registrant no later than the day before the online seminar. Please provide an accurate email address when you register.

The program is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include time for breaks and lunch just as if you were at an in-person seminar. Certificates will be emailed to attendees who arrive before 9:00 a.m. and remain online for the entire seminar. Cancellations are subject to a $35 cancellation fee. Substitutions are allowed.

If you are a realtor and want to claim CEs from the Texas Real Estate Commission for this class, TREC’s rules require that you be visible on a webcam for the duration of the course. TAA & TREC remind you to be safe while participating in this program.
