CCAA's Community Service Committee identifies avenues and projects
through which the Association and its members may make worthwhile
contributions to the CCAA service area. The Committee promotes the
multifamily housing industry and helps to create a positive image
for the industry as a whole.
Fire Relief Fund
Money raised during the year can be designated to this fund to give
assistance to renters who are victims of a fire. Donations accepted
at the CCAA office.
Education Fund
Money raised during the year will be awarded in scholarship form
to recipients chosen by a committee who must first review applicant(s)
information. Donations are accepted at the CCAA office.
PAC (Political Action Fund)
Where funds are raised during the year and used to help encourage
industry friendly legislation.
A few of the past projects CCAA members have been involved in include:
- New Backpack and Towel fundraiser
for
Women's Shelter of Corpus Christi
- Raffle ticket sales to raise money
for
"Taking Back The Streets."
